Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in public history from North Carolina State University, and a master’s degree in library science from North Carolina Central University.  She was the records manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill prior to coming to UVA, and began her records management career as a records analyst with the North Carolina State Archives. She was hired in October 2008 to create the records management program at UVA. She completed the exams to be designated as a Certified Records Manager (CRM) in 2011.

Caroline has spoken at national and local conferences including ARMA International, AIIM, Educause, Educause Security, and VAGARA. She is past president of the ARMA Richmond Chapter, leads the College and University Industry Roundtable at the national ARMA Conference, and was the lead writers for Part 6 and is currently the Regent for Exam Development with the Institute of Certified Records Managers.  Caroline received the 2016 Outstanding Member of the Year award from the Virginia Assoication of Government Archives and Records Administrators (VAGARA).

She leads the records management team, supports e-discovery and investigative actions for electronically-stored information, provides training, assistance, and guidance to staff and faculty on the proper management of all records (physical and electronic), as well as works with Information Security and Information Technology Services on the development of new electronic records systems that comply with records management policies and standards.

Jessie holds a bachelor's degree in history from Northern Arizona University and a master's degree in history with an emphasis in archives and records from Wright State University.  She spent nine years as an archivist at the Library of Virginia (LVA) and two years as a records management and information analyst at LVA before joining the UVA Records Management Office in March 2015. She earned the Certified Records Analyst (CRA) designation from the ICRM in 2017.

Her main duties include handling general records management inquiries and RM3 reviews, delivering records management and University Records Management Application (URMA) training, and doing site visits, clean-outs, and consultations. Jessie is also responsible for managing the URMA system.

 
Senior Records Management Analyst

Anita holds a bachelor's degree in English from Shippensburg University and a master's degree in library and information science with an emphasis in archives and records management from the University of Pittsburgh. Before joining UVA in 2019, she spent five years at Emory University as the records manager, and before that was a records analyst, and later section coordinator, for the Records Analysis Section at the Library of Virginia.

Her main duties include handling general records management inquiries and RM3 reviews, delivering records management and University Records Management Application (URMA) training, and doing site visits, clean-outs, and consultations. Anita is also responsible for assisting with FOIA/eDiscovery requests and managing the website.
